Attracting and retaining good quality staff is one of the four company aims and it is reflected in the environment we work in.
More than £2million has been invested in a total refurbishment of our Blundell’s Corner HQ. The emphasis has been on staff comfort and creating the right environment for our people to do a great job.
A low-energy, state-of-the-art, air conditioning system has been installed along with motion and light sensitive office lighting. All office staff have an ergonomically tested chair and a desk which is at least 1.6m in length with a separate filing pedestal.
The colour scheme has been carefully chosen to enhance the atmosphere of a professional but friendly working environment.
The Corner, a new employee restaurant, has been created to offer a café-bistro offering Starbucks coffees, a variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, pastries and cakes.
A soft lounge area with TV has been created in the restaurant for staff relaxation.
An ATM is available in The Corner, while vending machines offering confectionery, hot and cold drinks are situated on the ground and first floors along with free filtered water dispensers.
